Relax to the Max! - massage with with a touch of 'spa' added

Massage using essential oils or bundled plant materials (thai compresses) are a natural form of healing that does not involve any synthesized drugs. Adding these oils to a massage give the added benefits that come from the healing properties of these plants. As the skin absorbs the oils, it offers pain relief and provides the mental stimulation needed for a deeply relaxing, stress reducing massage. 

These treatments are not recommended for: 
  • pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • those with uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • those with environmental, strong fragrance or heat sensitivities

What are these aromatic Massage treatments?

These treatments focus on different areas of the body and groups of muscles, with targeted goals for aiding the body to heal itself. Each type of traditional Eastern treatment incorporates massage therapy techniques along with the use of either essential oils or plant bundles, and often hydrotherapy. These are not deep tissue treatments, but the affects are deeply relaxing, stress reducing and are said to be immune boosting as well.

Facial Treatment + Massage: This facial protocol brings in several different tools to address the face, neck and head.  Lymphatic drainage, cupping, gua sha, acupressure are all used to bring relief to the muscles, fascial and lymph in this area. The treatment is finished with a soothing massage using a blend of essential oils to promote healing and relaxation. Ayurvedic (Indian) Head Massage: Therapeutic and relaxing, this treatment involves working with a firm and gentle rhythm  to help unknot blockages and relieve pain from built-up tension. The head and hair are extremely sensitive as the face and scalp are crowded with nerve endings. This makes them very receptive to touch. This massage tackles the physical, mental and emotional effects of stress in a unique and particularly effective way. Massaging the head and hair is soothing and deeply relaxing. Read more here.

Aroma Massage Treatments use a blend of Swedish, Thai, Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi, and lymphatic drainage to give these treatments a restorative and remedial effect. Using blends of essential oils to complement these treatments promote muscle healing and a deeply relaxing yet rejuvenating experience. Read more here.

Raindrop Therapy: This treatment draws on various massage styles accompanied with blending essential oils to create a soothing, immune boosting, and rejuvenating treatment. Oils are applied to the spine, and spine reflexes of the hands and feet. Hot towels are placed for deeper hydrotherapy, and the rhythmic massage soothes the senses and promotes a deep relaxing effect. Thai Stem Herbal Massage: This form of massage draws on various modalities to create a soothing, purifying, and rejuvenating treatment. The hot compress is applied to the body allowing the heat and herbal components to penetrate deep into the tissues.
