Anne Käärid, RMT, NHP, Educator, Mentor

One thing you should know about me is this: I absolutely love what I do!

It’s a true privilege to help clients and students deepen their understanding of their bodies, improve their health, and overcome the challenges that can hold them back.

Through my own journey in massage therapy, wellness, and self-care, I’ve learned that when it comes to health, especially knowing how to take care of our bodies, we can always do better. And we must do better!

My name is Anne, and I’m here to share my passion for massage, self-care, and body awareness with you—because a healthy, happy body is something we all deserve!

So, my mission is pretty clear: I’m here to help treat soft tissue imbalances, guide my clients in understanding their own bodies, and encourage a deeper connection to self-care that nurtures not just the body, but the mind, heart, and spirit.
I’m also passionate about teaching and mentoring other massage and manual therapists who want to make the same positive impact.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in Owen Sound, Almonte/Ottawa, and now in Wortley Village (London), Ontario, in both private and public settings. I’ve attended numerous national and global conferences (and even had the chance to speak at a few of them!) to keep my knowledge sharp and feed my love for continuous learning.

My clinical interests are rooted in the subtle healing power of manual lymphatic drainage, whether it's for post-surgical recovery or overall wellness. I also incorporate abdominal and pelvic massage to address women’s health and gut health. And, because I’m a firm believer in the power of the senses, I love integrating aromatherapy into my practice to enhance the healing experience.

I’m deeply drawn to integrative, collaborative approaches to health care, and I’m passionate about women’s wellness and teaching others how to embrace self-care in all aspects of their lives.
"True healing begins
when the body is gently guided back to its natural balance, where it remembers
its own strength, wisdom,
and ability to thrive."

my passion for muscles, self-care and education

I’m definitely an A&P geek at heart, always excited to dive deeper into new areas of the human muscular system. You’ll often catch me reading the latest research in manual therapies, taking new courses, or connecting with allied health professionals to expand my knowledge and understanding.

One of my favourite things to do is share that excitement with others through interactive speaking engagements about muscles and self-care. My goal is to empower people to take charge of their own health and embrace their unique balance. I’ve had the pleasure of presenting to audiences ranging from elementary to post-secondary students, conferences, women’s retreats, and community groups. I also love collaborating with yoga teachers and studios, and facilitating workshops on self-care for the broader community. It’s always a joy to see others excited about taking care of themselves and understanding their bodies better.

My passion for muscles and education also extends into the world of canine health, where I provide massage and acupressure treatments to our amazing companion animals. As a service dog owner, I’ve had the privilege of caring for my own dog through her puppyhood and into her palliative care, which has been both an honour and a profound learning experience in the realm of canine wellness. In my ‘spare time,’ I’m always expanding my knowledge - currently working toward my companion animal aromatherapy certification and planning to explore canine osteopathy in the upcoming year. It’s a joy to support both humans and animals in their health journeys.
