Anne Käärid, RMT, NHP, Educator, Wellness CoachOne thing you should know about me is this: I absolutely love what I do!
I consider it an honour and a privilege to be able to work with clients and students who want to flourish in their understanding of the body, how to keep it healthy, and who won’t be held back by uninformed barriers and challenges. My personal and professional experiences in the world of massage, wellness and self-care have led me to one conclusion: when it comes to health, especially understanding how the body works and how to take care of it, we can do better. We need to do better. We must do better! Hi there! I am Anne, the friendly face behind Anne the RMT and LunchBox U – and if you can’t already tell, I’m pretty passionate about all things massage, self-care and a healthy body awareness. |
So my mission is pretty clear. I’m here to treat clients’ soft tissue imbalances, to share an understanding of their own body, and to encourage self-care by taking care of their body and mind, heart and spirit.
I also teach manual and massage therapists who desire to do the same.
I have worked in Owen Sound, Almonte/Ottawa, and currently in Wortley Village (London) Ontario in both private and public settings, and have attended a number of national and global conferences to keep current with my knowledge base and feed my continuous desire for learning.
My clinical interests include the subtle healing of manual lymphatic drainage, as well as focused massage to address chronic headaches, neck pain, temporomandibular dysfunction (TMJD) and orofacial pain. As these imbalances often affect the pelvic floor, abdominal health and the feet, my clinical interests include these areas as well. I am drawn to integrative and collaborative approaches to health care, women’s wellness, and self-care education.
